Not to be confused with FCM Târgovişte. ==Hitory== Football in Târgovişte, started with FCM Târgovişte, wich was dissolved in the summer of 2015. In 2010 a new team was founded by Romanian football legend Gheorghe Popescu and named FC Chinidia, wich was a football academy like Gheorghe Hagi Viitorul Constanța. In 2013 Popescu left the club. The biggest accomplishment the team has ever made was promoting twice in Liga II, by winning Liga III.
